Heart Corporation has been providing ALTs (Assistant Language Teachers) to Japanese schools for over 30 years. They are now looking for candidates who would like to start working from April 2025 for the start of the new school year. Some positions require applicants fairly immediately, and they will be interested to hear from those at that time as well.

Responsibilities:

• Job type: Classroom-based job.

• Contract: Contracts range in the number of working days and hours, so those looking for more freedom regarding working schedules may have an interest in addition to those wishing to work all school days.

• Intended start date: March 15, 2025

• Age range of the students: 3~18

• Work hours: Monday to Friday Schedule (Weekends & Japanese Holidays Off). Flexible Working Hours (8:00 – 4:30, vary by city).

• Collaborate with Japanese teachers for Engaging English Lessons.

• Inspire Students to Communicate in English.

• Foster an Engaging English-Learning Environment.

Qualifications:

• BA or BS from an accredited university, or enough teaching experience.

• Although some teaching experience is preferred, it is not required because all teachers will undergo some training before beginning any position.

• A basic Japanese conversation level or higher is desired.

• TESOL/TEFL is meriting.
